If you’re travelling through the Central West, exploring the Mudgee region, or enjoying a weekend on the road, we’d love you to drop in. The Gold & Fleece Hotel is an easy and rewarding stop for a meal, a cold drink and a taste of genuine country hospitality.

We’re located in the village of Windeyer, just a scenic 30–35 minute drive from Mudgee. Many visitors include us as part of a day trip while touring local wineries, heading out bush, or travelling between Mudgee, Bathurst and Dubbo.

How to Find Us

From Mudgee, follow Hill End Road and continue onto Windeyer Road, enjoying the countryside along the way. Once you reach Windeyer, you’ll find the Gold & Fleece Hotel right in the heart of the village — you can’t miss it.

If you’re coming from Bathurst or Dubbo, the drive takes you through some of the region’s most beautiful open landscapes and historic towns, making the journey part of the experience.

Whether you’re passing through, staying nearby, or just looking for a great country pub to relax in, pull up a chair and make yourself at home. We’ll have the bar open and the welcome waiting.
